The Entertainment Safety Exam was created by Leaf Life Learning, LLC to get Georgians and the southeast ready for the Motion Picture Boom in the region. The certification was developed as a means of addressing the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's ("OSHA") requirements that employees be trained (and the training documented) in the safe use of equipment and work practices on their job. Therefore, because of the freelance nature of the entertainment industry, the Leaf Life’s Safety on Set Program meets the training needs of the film and TV industry by providing industry focused safety training, thus allowing the Producers and department leaders to concentrate on site-specific training for the project at hand.
